Esme was born May 20, 2009.
Wow what a girl!!! She is so special and so smart!!!
She is incredibly athletic and full of energy. She is not
a sedate Newf. She is affectionately called by her
handlers, Esme-No-No, because she is always
checking stuff out. She has always been a "thief" of a
dog, no matter what the item, she wants to take it to
play with, dirty laundry, mittens, a shoe, it is all fair
game. To her the game is grab as I run out the door
and see if you can catch me with it. If I don't chase
her, she drops it and then goes about her
business...for Esme, it is all about the fun of
the game.
Esme has rather unusual markings on her head, they
aren't incorrect, but not typical, so judges don't
always know what to make of the smiling happy
Newf. Structurally I couldn't ask for better, her
movement is AMAZING, she floats on her toes (she is
very typical of the movement Boo makes in his
babies). She has outstanding reach and drive. She
did well this year while showing, but we aren't
finished yet. She will return to the ring in 2012 to
finish her championship.
OFA: Hips good, elbows, heart, patella's and cystinuria all
normal.
